The 2021 Giro d'Italia has officially finished and a winner has been crowned. As expected, this year's race did not disappoint. Egan Bernal (Ineos Grenadiers) was able to hold on to victory and take home the pink jersey through the final time trial in Milan, won by teammate Filippo Ganna.
Damiano Caruso (Bahrain-Victorious) and Simon Yates (Team BikeExchange) took home second and third respectively finishing at 1-29 and 4-15.
*Awarded to the rider who makes it around the route faster than anyone else. Whoever wins the stage will wear the jersey on the next stage, leading the overall or general classification with a certain gap to the next rider
